Hay Jeff, your absolutely spot on. These bikes are not built to cope with British weather. and the build quality of my EX bike.. Tango 250 (223cc) was crap. best thing I did was get rid of it. I suggest you do the same, before you put any effort in to it.

Hello Mr Webb,
You may like to Know that I have had enough of this Spanish idea of a dual-sport bike! Frankly its rubbish, so you won't be surprised that I'm getting rid and getting a Honda CRF. The issue that has brought me to this final conclusion (along with the rest) Is.. It has now started jumping out of 1st gear. I hope yours continues to give you good service. But I have had enough.

General Discussion / oil filter tango 250
« on: March 15, 2014, 03:53:25 AM »
I've been searching the internet for an oil filter for Tango 250? my Tango 225 (not 250cc, actually 223cc) But the only place I could find one was at Rieju UK. Total price inc postage was 6.50, fair enough having bought oil filters for other bikes. When it arrived I was a little shocked. It was the size of a thimble and just a wire mesh, it would not filter small metal particles, more like a filter for food waste for going down the plug hole. Diabolical  price for a wire mesh thimble. and barely fit for purpose. Not to mention you have to dismantle the back half of the bike to fit it. Don't buy a Rieju Tango. see my other posts.

General Discussion / Tango 250 no better than chinese bikes
« on: February 24, 2014, 12:00:55 PM »
Rieju Uk spares distribution to dealers is absolutely rubbish. Chinese Bike manufactures have better parts availability, Build quality is not too good either, 400 miles on clock, screws missing and loose, wheel decals peeling off, steering lock not working, neutral difficult to get, slips through to second, electrical arc under carb from starter when starting.
Regards
BH.

General Discussion / tango 250 specs
« on: February 10, 2014, 04:40:27 AM »
Has anybody found a problem with trying to pin down the correct tech specs for the tango 250?
In my research to choose a bike, I've found that reading the different sites that give spec's for the bike, are nearly all different i.e. weight 101kg, 105kg, or my 2013 model 117kg. Engine 223cc, or 249cc. 5 gears or 6 gears, mine is 5. Fuel tank capacity, 5.5 litres, 6.7 litre, 7 litre. very confusing.
