RS3 125 Poor Running & Carb Settings?
« on: January 12, 2018, 02:18:09 AM »
Hi all,

RS3 125, will only run with a bit of choke, when running and left to idle the revs increase & decrease. Release the choke and it dies. I've altered the idle up but revs its nuts off, but when the choke is released it still dies.

Use the throttle and it sounds like it is being flooded then will rev at high RPM.

Any ideas? Does anyone have the correct carb settings?

If you have tried to adjust the carb settings try putting them back to what they were, then remove the carb clean out the jets and bowl. Also clean or replace the air filter. Check your sparkplug too, it is is wet dry it off with a lighter for some time.

These are the things I do when mine starts to faff about due to the jetting in mine depending on the weather. Ps mines highly modified so I wouldnít expect yours to be difficult
